Shepherd Village – HUD Housing – is part of Shepherd Village and is an independent community available to individuals age 62 and older who meet federal guidelines for subsidized housing. HUD housing consists of twenty apartments. Each apartment has a private bathroom and shower, a kitchen area with a refrigerator and a stove, a separate bedroom with a spacious walk-in closet and a living room.
Tenants are welcome to attend activities in the assisted living. If the tenant does not wish to cook, meals may be purchased from Good Shepherd and enjoyed in the assisted living dining room with the other tenants. Tenant are also able to utilize the services provided by the beauty shop. Beauty shop services are billed to the tenant directly by the beautician.
