Employee Testimony about Good Shepherd
Well for one thing we work as a team but we are more than that we are family. Every day you never know what is going to happen, like a resident telling a joke or a story. The residents have lived a few years more than me so they are interesting to talk to….I have lost all my grandparents so most of the time I treat my residents as my family. In a few years I will be their age and I hope I have someone nice to take care of me. It is rewarding just to see a smile and know I helped one of the residents have a better day.  –Joyce C.

Activities Staff Testimony
I love planning events for our residents. –Joanie W.

Resident Testimony
You feel welcome the minute you come through the front door…It’s really a feeling of belonging. When I was shown my door I thought this was my future—my home—I walked inside and knew it belonged to me. The rooms were going to be fun to furnish…I met so many happy friends—all happy to see me, eager to belong, and then meal time—what a surprise—the dining room was beautiful and the cooks….very good at delivering great meals. I was so happy to become part of this…the manager…the nursing care is professional, the helpers are friendly, caring and eager to assist in any situation. I sound like a happy old lady and I guess I am. I couldn’t be more relaxed & settled now for the remaining years.
–Bette T.
