With a strong commitment to improving the lives of seniors, in 1998, the Board
of Directors of Good Shepherd made arrangements with Housing and Urban
Development for a Section 202 Program of Supportive Housing. This apartment
complex is not a licensed health care entity. Apartments are available to
individuals age 62 and older with limited resources. Each one bedroom apartment
measures 522 sq feet with a complete kitchen. The monthly rent for these
apartments is based on each individual’s disposable income. Residents of the
Hansen Wing also have access to the Assisted Living Dining Room, as well as
Activities, Transportation, and weekly Wellness checks by a licensed RN.
