Psalms 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
   I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down
   in green pastures.
  He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.
   He leads me in paths of
    righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through
    the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies;
   you anoint my head with oil;
   my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy
   shall follow me all the days of my life,
   and I shall dwell in the
   house of the Lord forever.

We all have a past, the story of which is already written. However, our future is full of blank pages waiting to record our life's journey. We need to accept what was and look forward to new and exciting chapters being written with God as our co-author.
(see Philippians 13:13-14)

Spiritual Caring

Good Shepherd Lutheran Community is a serving arm of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We strive at Good Shepherd to provide spiritual care for the residents, families, and employees.

Each week, we provide a Bible Study for Residents of Nursing Care and Residents of Shepherd’s Village. We also offer monthly Communion Services, a Friday Worship for the Cognitively Impaired, and a mid-week Worship opportunity for the residents of Shepherd's Village. Roman Catholic Residents are offered weekly Rosary and monthly Mass through Clergy of St. Francis Borgia.

Each weekday morning, the residents participate in devotions and the Chaplain makes regular visitations with residents. Local clergy are encouraged to join their residents for visitation, devotions, bible studies and communion.

We invite any residents', families and friends to join us for Worship. Sunday Worship service begins at 10:00 AM and we also provide Worship on Holidays.
